SG2 offers a comprehensive range of services to NAVAIR Program Offices, including project management, administration, budget financial management, security, and facilities support. Our expertise extends to platform integration, configuration control board reviews, as well as operations analysis and planning. We are committed to providing top-notch support in all aspects of program management to ensure the success of our clients’ projects.
SG2 facilitates the implementation of shared avionics frameworks across various programs of record (PORs) through three key approaches. Firstly, it develops consensus-based open architecture standards through a quality assurance (QA) process. Secondly, it offers expertise in architecture to support common capability acquisition teams. Lastly, it provides engineering and technical assistance for platform integration. Our dedicated support team actively engages in software and hardware QA initiatives and ensures compliance with program requirements. In addition, SG2 actively participates in open standards activities, collaborating with Consortium and Academia efforts such as the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE™), Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA™), Hardware Open Systems Technologies (HOST), among others. We continuously update and demonstrate open standards, while maintaining the current baseline architectures.
